Testimonial for Portable Mobility.
On my Wheelchairs/Etc.
Model: AO-8 and A-13.

Normally a Testimonial is just a short statement on how a product works/etc, but in this case we felt it would not be right on the product or company. It all started back in May 2019 when I needed my first Wheelchair. I started my search by a lot of reading over the Net. This is when I first spoke to Steve over the phone asking if we could come down to his Warehouse to talk/look at the Freedom Range he was selling. We have been to a couple of other suppliers and all they wanted was a quick sale. Steve asked us a few questions even before he told us about the AO-8 Freedom Wheelchair. The Service Steve gave us back then is the same service he gives us now and I am on my second Wheelchair from him. The second Wheelchair is the best for money for me and for what I wanted. It is an A-13. The main three things I really wanted was an Electric Wheelchair under 90kg’s and I needed a Wheelchair with an adjustable back and with USB outlet for my iPhone and iPad. The AO-8 I have does not have all of these features on it. Most of the Wheelchairs out there with an adjustable back are well over 95kgs. My hoist in the back of our SUV can only lift anything under 90kgs. We have had batteries replaced in the AO-8 a couple of times now, it’s still going strong. I use this one indoors now and the A-13 stays in the back of our SUV. The one item I really like is they both use the same batteries. The batteries are great for travelling due to their size. Some of the Wheelchairs I researched, their batteries are an awkward size or heavy for travelling. They can have up to 3 batteries and each battery will travel 15k’s. I have two that’s far enough for me.
Portable Mobility also sells Travel Mobility Scooters. My wife uses a Solax Mobie for travelling/shopping; now that’s a different story to talk about. They are a very small scooter and they are light to handle and for our hoist.
We would like to finish this Testimonial with these two things.
- If you are thinking of buying one of their products I can truly say their Service/Help is Outstanding.
- The second thing is don’t think just buy one.
