DE08/L Freedom Chairs Now Only Take 5 seconds to Split or Join.

The popular DE08 Premium Lite and DE08L Premium Lite Sport Freedom Chairs have just got even easier to split for easy lifting into the car boot. The manufacturer has introduced a design upgrade that eliminates the need to unplug cables prior to splitting. Now it’s simply releasing the locking bar, pulling the frame upwards for splitting, and aligning the two segments to automatically lock back to join. Done in a few seconds!

Available now on the De08 model, available very soon on DE08L.

 

The health and safety of our customers, staff, and associates is of paramount importance to us. As such we are strictly following Australian Government recommendations, guidelines, and health and hygiene advice during the current coronavirus health crisis.

In line with this we have implemented the following measures:

• Staff monitored daily for any signs of fever or sickness and told to stay home. Any staff member who has been in contact with a person who has contracted the virus, or has travelled, to self isolate for 14 days
• Adoption of strict social distancing of a minimum of 1.5 metres
• All equipment sanitized before and after demonstrations and trials
• All staff sanitizing hands regularly and strictly before and after demos and trials
• Contactless demos and trials with the option of using the aid of mobile phones
• Remote viewing of trials and demos via video capture, and live conferencing via streaming platforms like skype. Particularly beneficial for OT’s who are able to view the trial remotely

Option of contactless warehouse direct delivery of equipment via courier, and Australia Post for small items. All chairs, scooters,  accessories and associated items will be sanitized before dispatch, unless dispatched from a sealed box.

Don’t break your back trying to lift your portable power wheelchair into the car. The recently launched Freedom Chair DE08 series Premium Lite Chairs have just arrived. These are a gamechanger in the portable power chair sector. Based on the popular A08 Freedom Chair they have the extra feature of easy lifting into the car. The engineers came up with an ingenious design to make them easier to lift. To achieve this the drive segment and frame can easily and quickly be separated when you need to. It literally only takes a few seconds to separate or join the two segments of the chair for easy lifting. The heaviest segment is only 14 kg for ultra light lifting into the car boot. The DE08 Folding Electric Wheelchairs have all the features of others in the Freedom Chair series as standard.

Two models are currently available. The DE08 Premium Lite with solid 10″ PU rear tyres based on the A08 model, and the DE08L Premium Lite Sport with 12″ pneumatic rear air tyres based on the A08L model.

Our company recently exhibited at the ATSA Independent Living exhibition in Melbourne in conjunction with our Melbourne distributor. It was good to have the opportunity to meet various dealers throughout Victoria and interstate that attended the event. Also Lots of OT’s and end users that took the time to venture over.
